To install DotNetZoom on a home server you need :

• A High speed connection with a DSL line or Cable Modem.
• You should have a router.  However it is not a must but highly recommended. You will need to activate a fire wall  and make sure your computer can communicate with the internet using Port 80. 
• To get all the details on what is needed and how to set it up you should read the howto on http://www.dslwebserver.com/ .
• You will need Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Ultimate.
• Install IIS available for your version of Windows

To install DotNetZoom :

• .NET Framework 1.1 or 2.0  (msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/).

• SQL Server 2005, SQL Express, SQL Server 2000 ou MSDE 2000  (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/default.mspx).

• Unzip the  DotNetZoom.zip file in the C:inetpub/wwroot  directory or any other appropriate place. The following directories will be created.

• ../admin
  ../bin
  ../components
  ../controls
  ../database
  ../desktopmodules
  ../documentation
  ../FCKeditor
  ../images
  ../javascript
  ../templates
  
• Make sure the IIS_IUSR account has full control of c:inetpub/wwroot and its sub directories.
  
• Start IIS.
• Type http://localhost in your internet explorer DotNetZoom will set itself up.
• Do not forget the change the passwords for the Host and Adminstrator accounts.
